As our name
LIVE2RIDE suggests we
“Live to Ride”. Those who know us say that we are obsessed,
and we are proud of it. We absolutely love mountain biking
and the way that it makes you feel when you ride. No matter
who you are and how you ride, if you have been out mountain
biking you will have something to say about it.
We are proud admit
that we love South Africa, its people, its history and most
of all its future and the opportunities that lie ahead. That
is why we believe that the best way to see and experience
our country is from the seat of a mountain bike. So we dream
of being the destination of choice for mountain biking in
South Africa offering a world class mountain bike
experience.
 Founder
and driving force behind LIVE2RIDE is Alan Cotton.
He has spent
his life “living to ride”
land, water and ice, bicycles,
windsurfers, skateboards, kiteboards and snowboards. But it
is the cycling that started first
and has always been there. From
learning to ride as a kid, through the BMX era that honed
his skills and finally onto his first MTB in Tahoe
California in the early 90's. Since then he as travelled
South Africa riding over 50 mountain bike events around the
country. Recently he completed his 4th Cape Epic stage race
and looks set to increase that number. Actively involved in
mountain biking Alan is also a founding member of the
African Mountain Biking Association

qualified nature guide.
 Candice
is the steadying force in the team, bringing a sense of
order and a voice of reason. Her friendly accommodating
nature is always a hit with our guests as she leaves a
lasting impression upon them. Candice looks after the
finances and administration and most of all makes sure that
the customer experience is unforgettable.
Adventure
sport runs in our veins, its what keeps us going in the bad
times, and gives us our good times. We are passionate about
sport and adventure which is why we participate in all sorts
of exciting events in our spare time. We are always out
there having a good time and enjoying life.
